I’m all set with my Casio gpr-h1000 Rangeman.

I got the Blue and Grey version, but I gotta say I still prefer my GW-A1100. It's completely self-reliant, whereas this one needs to be synced with BT to get time adjusted. My GW-A1100 is still King of daily wear for me even after 8 years of ownership.

To be honest, moving from the Multiband to bluetooth is just a heavy cheapening in my eyes.....I really don't believe that I have to comment those disgusting stretchable strings at the ProTrek. How much should a normal user pay to authorised Casio repair centre when it snap (and it will definitely, if you're using it like it's intended)? 1000 EUR? I don't understand, how a Casio button can be ''accidentally pressed''? 37 grams ProTrek? It's made of cardboard? I like my Multiband 6 King, a lot. That DW6900 is good.

Hi. Just a minor comment: you showed a 6600 at 2:38 when I think you may have meant to show a 6900. Thanks for the video. I like the look of the white version. The orange is a bit less versatile as to when you can wear it, for me personally.

How long does the battery last in this one?

Casio just redesigned the cases, the modules are almost the same with the older ones. That protrek is looking good, but is the same with the casioak series, no sensors, no added functions, same with the GBD 300, I have the GBD 200 and I like it more. So nothing new here, just the design,and în some cases we have the bluetooth which is not really necessary.

I'm a pass on the GBD-300. The ProTrek seem interesting, that's my vote.

Do the bezels from the DW5600 and GWB5600 fit the GWM5600?

That's right, and how the situation with the Casio's style started, nothing will compare to that, at least not very soon. To be honest, it's not really a ''budget'' option, it depends of the colourway, and it depends of a condition....a lot. I've been fortunate enough to buy GPW2000 maybe a year ago, orange-olive combination which is I would say a rarest one, in a mint condition. I was wearing it today morning after a long time, that thing is really good. Speaking about the budget, I think my GPW2000, together with a customs, is more than 1000 EUR worth (if you manage to find it at the first place)....so it's not really wallet-friendly. In my opinion, GPW2000 is the best analog watch that Casio ever made.....it's all about the time and time measuring, which is absolutely great.....a time measuring tool, a definition of the watch. There's absolutely nothing in a today's Casio lineup which could come close to GPW2000. That ProTrek is really good, really clean...I also have a JDM PRW60FC, which is also very far from a wallet friendly, that's a first ''smaller'' Protrek, and it's also a great thing......even the original box is a space shuttle compared with today's ''recycled'' Casio rubbish boxes. Great choice buddy, great watches, beautiful.....I've always had a lot of love for your channel, since the beginning basically, but now I love it even more. Like

I love that watch. I have the black, the blue and the Gold Tornado. Apart from the MRG-G2000 I believe that the GPW-2000 is the only three way sync GF-Shock. I love the carbon fibre, the forged buttons and the two PCBs required as there is so much electronics in that watch. I wish Casio would make a smaller, but still GPS/GNSS capable GPS-3000. I also find that the GPW-2000 charges very very fast on my solar charger compared to most of my other G-Shocks. After you showed the catalogue covering the GPW-2000 I got a copy. I also imported the case that was shipped initially with this watch in Japan. I do wish it was a bit smaller.

Wasn’t expecting to see that Mountain Dew edition 6900. SUPER rare. I actually have that model, and I’m currently working on getting the skullcandy collab too.

The only difference with this watch against the GWG 1000 is the tough Solar included & metal used & other materials in its construction. Other wise All function are identical. Why spend for a very very similar watch. I’ll wait for the B2000 like I did for the 1000 upgrade to B 1000 ! 👍🏼

At this point my interest in the channel is the end of my involvement with G-Shock, bc I now have a smartwatch. G-Shock insane number of model releases is a curse, you are scared of buying one only to discover a better one exists or is released soon after. And as comments said, the reaction to smartwatch brands is either to be cheap... OR expensive 'premium'. But nothing can stop ppl turning into smartwatch users, especially Apple. It's soon becoming as essential as a phone, with venue access, transit, payment, etc. Back in the day ppl used mechanical watches. And they still exist for tiny niche markets like luxe... Times, they are a-changin'. Again.

For a long time every new release of G-Shock is just another big disappointment. Exactly like this one. Casio is turning into fashion brand. No real innovations and downgrading of existing lines of watches. Pity.

Get a used GPW-1000/2000 instead and roll with the high end G's instead. This should be nicknamed the gravity cadet. Ain't no master! (Sick video editing btw. Really swish!)
